ImagePRINT INI File Settings

Installation settings can be controlled by modifying values in the SETUP.INIfile. You can set the following:

General Settings

PrinterName - name of Printer displayed in the Printer Dialog.
ProductName - default destination sub-directory.
CompanyName - default destination instatallation directory.
ProgramFilesDir - default destination installation drive.
PortName - default driver port name.
DriverFilename, DriverUIFilename, PortMonitorFilename - filenames.
ControlDlgFilename - name of the User Interface application.

Driver Defaults

AllowMultiplePages - multiple pages per file / single pages per file.
Orientation - default orientation (Portrait or Landscape).
DefaultRes - default driver resolution (200x200).
DefaultPage - Default paper size (Letter).
Dither - default image dithering option (Error Diffusion)
PrintTestPage - print test page after installation.
OutputFilename - default name of output file.
FileType - choose from over 11 types.
JpegQuality - set the lossy compression value.
ProgFile1...- numerical list of files to copy over to destination dir.
SysFile1... - numerical list of files to copy over to the System dir.
WinFile1... - numerical list of files to copy over to the Windows dir.
Link1... - list of files to install as Start / Programs / menu items.
RegEntry1.. - list of entries to copy to the registry
ResolutionConversion - setup for exact printing
SourceDepth - amount of memory to allocate
TargetRes - output target resolution
Emulation - controls what resolutions the driver reports to the user.
CustomUnprintable... - custom print margins.
CustomResTableCount - number of custom hz and vt resolutions.
CustomhRes1, CustomVRes1 - one of the hz and Vt selections.
RunExe1... - name of EXE to run after installation.

Removing ImagePRINT

You can easily remove ImagePrint from your computer .

To remove ImagePRINT:

  • From the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Software. Select ImagePRINT driver, and click the Change/Remove button.
    - or -
  • From the Start button, select ImagePRINT Driver>Uninstall.
